Job Summary


Roles & Responsibilities:? Provide solutions to technical issues, responsible for meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements.? Responsible for analyzing, designing and developing ETL strategies and processes, writing ETL specifications and analysis of program/data problems, enhancement of existing functionalities.? Develop standard jobs and big data jobs using various transformations like tmap, taggregator, tjoiner, tdbinput, tsorter, etc. and new programs are written as per the requirement and modification of existing code according to change requirement.? Create the unit test cases for jobs/programs developed and verified the data.? Conduct the peer review and debugging for jobs/programs developed and tested.? Creating test plans and developing Test Scripts: Unit Testing, UAT support, document results, fixes assigned SIT & UAT defects and provides status for tracking.

Mandatory Skills required: 5-7 years of full life-cycle experience• Primary - Talend• Unix is Must• Databases – SQL is Must

Good to have  or Preferred • Hadoop or SPARK (is also good to have)• Python/Scala/Java/ Hive programming language is god to have (Is good to have) - Pyspark is preferred

They have over 2200 outlets and also function like any other e-commerce player. In size they are 72 billion USD (about 5 lakh Crore in INR). They have 3 lakhs employees world over. In India , they have about 2500 employees for retail technology development and analytics. They have e's' has done an e-commerce revamp by making it more robust and dynamic , recently and is planning big time in further enhancing the same. As part of the same they are hiring several resources in various skills in India.
