Project details 

Over the years, This bank has invested heavily on 3rd party / vendor applications that they used to drive their banking business. With the increasing need on data privacy and localization, in order to also be compliant with regional trade regulations, they are building these capabilities in-house and developing their own applications. As a part of this initiative, we are looking for Java Developers who would build these new platforms and you would Fastrack the transformation while the existing teams focus on their BAU operations

Employee Value Proposition

  • The candidate will join an Agile pod that builds, maintains and supports software for the Equities asset class
  • Often in a development environment, the Developers get the req download from the Business Analyst. In this case, the resource will directly work with the Product owner - giving the prospective candidate an opportunity to understand the entire workflow. They write the user stories as well as use cases
  • This would-be Test-driven development environment. So, in additional to Backend OR FullStack development, he/she would get exposure to UAT and initial feature testing by self , release engineering . Feature creation would run in parallel
  • The goal of this this team is to increase the release cadence - now, there are 2 releases per week, the goal in next 6 months is to double this. This would give a real experience of agile environment to the candidate (The candidate would experience a high-pressure environment)
  • This is a complete Ground up application development project. You are technically replacing approx. 8 Million lines of code (exiting application) to build a new scalable platform

Interview Information

There will be 3 rounds of interviews to grab this opportunity :

1. The First one - a technical evaluation at TEKsystems - this would enable the team to position your candidature well and highlight your strength areas. This round is very critical, as it will set the tone for next one.

2. Level 2 - Deep dive on technical expertise. Be ready to write some codes and expect some scenarios to be solved. Your thinking that will come in handy.

3. Manager + UK Round - more of a fitment round and project briefing. Tell them why you fit the role and the best candidate for them to have on-board
